Yes — Genshin Impact co-op works great on mobile, and it's fully cross-platform: phone, PC and console players all share the same world. Here's how to get the two of you into one Teyvat.
Unlocking co-op
- Both of you need Genshin installed (free on the App Store and Google Play) and Adventure Rank 16 — a few hours of play.
- Add each other via UID from the friends menu.
- Open the co-op menu and request to join your partner's world (up to four players per world).
What to actually do together
Fight world bosses, clear domains, gather materials and just explore — the map is enormous and gorgeous on a phone. Progress quirks aside (world quests advance for the host), it's one of the most rewarding long-term games two people can share; it anchors our co-op games for two list.
For the days between patches
Honkai: Star Rail is the turn-based sibling to play in parallel, and our #1 pick Our Flower Garden is the five-minute daily ritual that fits around any Genshin session.
